Thanks Parents and Guardians!

Thank you so much to each and every person that came to curriculum. I can see that education is very important to all of you. I am looking forward to meeting all of the other families as other events occur.

We have had a great few first few weeks. Routines are beginning to form and they are making everyone's lives easier. Students are learning that expectations are expremely high in our classroom in preparation for the real world. This is a great group of students will be learn to challege each other in safe and approriate manners.

We have begun to study digestion in science and soon will begin hands on lessons to test what happens in our bodies. During our first unit of reading, we began thinking about predicting and using prefixes and suffixes to understand the meanings of words. As for our writing curriculum, we are practicing the ability to write for longer periods of time by practicing in short increments to build our stamina. Our students have also practiced storying with friends about different topics to practice using details to enhance a story.
